Try Dive

Like the idea of scuba diving but don't know where to start?

A try dive is the best way to experience breathing underwater using scuba kit. It allows you to find out if scuba diving is for you without having to spend time and money on a full course.

Try dives typically consist of a short briefing followed by 30 to 40 minutes in the swimming pool under full instruction and guidance from one of our experienced and friendly CRB cleared instructors.

After pool sessions we often frequent a local watering hole, why not come along to discuss the highlights of your try dive and learn more about who we are?

When and where can I get a try dive?

We offer try dives in Lutterworth swimming pool on most Tuesday evenings between 21:00 and 22:00. See the how to find us page for a map and directions.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to bring is yourself, swimwear, a towel and optionally a t-shirt to wear in the water. All other equipment is provided by us.

If you own a mask or fins that you are already comfortable with then feel free to bring them along too.

Can I buy a try dive as a gift?

For £10 we offer a gift pack that also includes a certificate and digital copies of photos taken during the try dive.

Are there any restrictions?

The only requirements are that you are over the age of 12 with no known significant medical problems.

Under 18s will need a parent or guardian to be present at the pool during the try dive. We also require proof of age for junior members.
